Hamderi Deposu

Used mostly as a depot and storehouse throughout Beykoz Kundura’s history, this masonry building also housed an overhaul and repair workshop in the 1960s.

With its arched façade reminiscent of the Eski Kundura building, Hamderi Deposu is one of Beykoz Kundura’s most characteristic structures, and its lofty volume and original wooden roof trusses give it an impressive interior. With its fine brickwork and varied spaces on different levels, it is one of Kundura’s buildings that has survived to the present day with its fabric intact, still carrying the historic scent of industry.
