Deri Dolapları
Built in the late Ottoman period, this building was where, during the Sümerbank era, raw hides were soaked in chemical solutions to prepare them for shoemaking.
Made up of two interconnected spaces, Deri Dolapları is one of the rare places where the scent of genuine leather still lingers. Also home to the giant historic cylindrical tanks once used to mix paper pulp when the site was a paper mill, it is a space where Beykoz Kundura’s history can be experienced firsthand.
