The Kundura Hafıza Archive & Research collection is centered on the Beykoz Deri ve Kundura Fabrikası and comprises several sub-collections focusing on the industrial history of the Ottoman and Republican periods, including other factories affiliated with Sümerbank and Etibank.
Opened in June 2021, the exhibition “Kundura’s Memory: A World Fit into a Factory” proposes a different perspective on the production history of the Sümerbank Beykoz Deri ve Kundura Fabrikası.

Launched in 2022 as a partnership between Kundura Hafıza and Kundura Sahne, the artist program Vardiya creates new spaces for thinking and encounter where art and the archive meet.
Located right across from the Marangozhane building, Kundura Hafıza’s exhibition space, Hafıza Cafe offers a chance to take a breather in the shade of the trees, is a favorite meeting point, especially for exhibition visitors and workshop participants.
Kundura Hafıza Cultural Heritage Preservation Association was founded in February 2021 to bring together the cultural memory of Beykoz Kundura, preserve it and pass it on to future generations.
