The workshop will begin by exploring the cinema/open-air cinema section of the Sümerbank Factory featured in the exhibition Kundura’s Memory: A World Fit into a Factory. It will continue with a discussion of today’s cinema entry systems.
Using Lego Education’s Spike Essential set, children will build an open-air cinema. They will make a model in which people scan their tickets to enter the cinema, and code their models using color sensor, light matrix, sound, display and bar graph coding blocks.
No prior coding knowledge is required. The workshop aims to introduce children to robotics and coding through an everyday real-life problem.
