The workshop will begin by exploring the dining hall section of the Sümerbank Factory featured in the exhibition Kundura’s Memory: A World Fit into a Factory. It will continue with a discussion of how workers get their meals in factories/workplaces today.
Using Lego Education’s Spike Essential set, children will build a factory dining hall and a motorized mechanism that serves meals when meal cards are scanned. They will code the model they build using color sensor, motor, sound, display and bar graph coding blocks.
No prior coding knowledge is required. The workshop aims to introduce children to robotics and coding through an everyday real-life problem.
