European Film Month, where the European Film Academy announces Europe's film and award season and celebrates the diversity of European cinema, is celebrated this year at Kundura Cinema in Turkey. Starting on November 1st and until December 9th, the event will offer special programs, events, and retrospectives on European cinema in 70 cities. The event at Kundura Cinema will come to life with classics from French cinema. European Film Month will bring a special selection that brings together Varda, Resnais, and Godard to the Istanbul audience with restored copies, inviting you to remember and celebrate the magic of French cinema.

European Film Month: Organized by the European Film Academy in partnership with Europa Cinemas, this event celebrates the diversity of European cinema over four weeks, from Istanbul to Athens, Lisbon to Bucharest, in leading cinemas in more than 70 cities. Each cinema on the network is included in this event with a unique program shaped according to their expertise and curation policies, instead of a uniform catalog. The event will culminate at the 36th European Film Awards, which will be held in Berlin on December 9th.
